BCECE 2023 – Admission Process, Eligibility, Examination

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Bihar Examination Board. BCECE exam is conducted to provide admission to candidates in various undergraduate courses in engineering, medicine, agriculture, and technology.

BCECE 2023 is an offline mode exam that is conducted with pen and paper for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The BCECE registration process can be done online by visiting the official website of the board. BCECE is conducted with a view to providing admission to various educational institutions in Bihar. The BCECE exam paper will consist of subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Agriculture depending on the candidates they want to opt for.

Admission to the course through BCECE will be based on the counseling of the marks obtained by the students in the entrance test. Candidates can enroll for the BCECE exam after completing the intermediate post and fulfilling the eligibility criteria set by the BCECE board.

BCECE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board set the eligibility criteria for BCECE 2023. Candidates willing to appear for BCECE must fulfill the required eligibility criteria of the concerned authorities. The board will reject the application form without essential qualifications, and the candidates will not be liable to appear for the BCECE exam.

  • Applicants willing to apply for this course must be Indian and must belong to the state of Bihar. Should have Physics, Chemistry Mathematics/ Biology as their primary subject in 10+2 with an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST).
  • Candidates who appeared for Intermediate Board Exam can also apply before the declaration of results.
  • There is no specific age limit for BCECE, and the exam is open for all eligible applicants to appear.
  • The maximum limit for the candidates to apply for the BCECE exam is 3 times.

BCECE 2023 Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in 2 phases. The candidate applying for the BCECE entrance exam has to select any of the steps while filling out the application form. Stage 1 paper carries a total of 150 marks, and the Stage 2 paper carries 300 marks.

BCECE 2023 Admit Card

The admit card for BCECE 2023 entrance exam will be issued by the exam conducting authority before the commencement of the exam. BCECE 2023 is scheduled to be conducted in July 2023.

Steps to Download BCECE 2023, Admit Card

Step 1: Go to the official website of BCECE “www.bceceboard.bihar.gov.in”.

Step 2: “Admit card” link should be clicked on the home page

Step 3: Once the home page is redirected to a login window, then enter the email ID and password.

Step 4: Click on the ‘Submit’ button to continue and download the admit card.
