ESE full form, Eligibility, Qualification – A Complete Guide

Engineering Services Examination is referred to as the ESE full form. This nationwide exam is administered by UPSC to choose officers for government employment in the technical sector. ESE Full Form &  Exam Eligibility

Educational Qualification 

  • The following educational requirements must be met by the candidate in order for them to be considered for ESE 2023. Additionally, a candidate needs to meet one or more of the following educational requirements.
  • It is necessary to get an engineering degree from an accredited school or university.
  • A applicant may also possess a diploma or degree in engineering from an accredited foreign university.
  • In addition, candidates must pass the IEI’s A and B portions.
  • Additionally, candidates must be eligible to take the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunications Graduate Membership Exam.
  • Candidates might also be eligible for the Indian Aeronautical Society Associate Membership Exam.

UPSC ESE Application Process

Candidates for the ESE who satisfy all qualifying requirements may proceed to finish the online registration process. They also need to complete the following actions in order to complete the application form:

  • Go to the official UPSC website. They must also click on the ESE exam notification.
  • On the ensuing page, they need to click the “apply online” link.  
  • Next, fill out Part 1 of the Prelims application by providing all the required data. After they enter their information, a text message with their password and unique registration number is sent to their phone number.
  • Following that, applicants can complete the application by logging in with their registration number and date of birth.
  • Candidates should verify their application form for accuracy after filling it out completely. Once they are satisfied that the information is accurate, they can submit the form.
  • Following that, candidates need to send in scan copies of all required supporting materials.

ESE Exam Pattern

ESE Interview
