Debendra Pradhan, Education Minister of India 2023 and also was a cabinet minister in the Vajpayee administration from 1999 to 2004, is the father of Dharmendra Pradhan. His birthday is June 26, 1969.
Dharmendra Pradhan became an Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad activist while pursuing his upper secondary education at Talcher College, eventually rising to the position of student union president.
His graduate work in anthropology was completed at Talcher College in Odisha. In 1983, Pradhan started his political career as an ABVP volunteer before rising to the position of secretary. He was twice chosen to represent Bihar and Madhya Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha.
