About UP Police Syllabus 2024

The UP Police Constable Notification 2024, released by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRB), has 60244 openings for the position of Constable. UP Police Constable Selection Process 2024

As stated in the notification, there are multiple steps in the selection process for constable positions with the Uttar Pradesh Police. To be chosen, applicants need to achieve the minimum scores in each of the phases that follow.

Stage 1- Written Exam

Stage 2- Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (PST)

Stage 3- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

UP Police Constable Exam Pattern 2024

You need to know the exact format of the written exam before proceeding to the UP Police Syllabus. 

  • The UP Police Constable Exam lasts for two hours or 120 minutes.
  • There will be a written, objective-based test.
  • General Hindi, General Knowledge, Numerical and mental Ability Test, and Mental Aptitude / Intelligence / Reasoning are the four papers that make up the test.
  • The exam will consist of 150 questions and 300 total marks.
  • The test will be offered in both Hindi and English.
  • Every question will be worth +2 points.
  • Each incorrect response will result in a 0.5 deduction from the final score.
